Kanaloa's goal is to offer a robust scholarship program
to our community. The program is targeted
toward professional logisticians seeking a
commission or further advancement in a logistics
related career.
We adhere to National LOA's scholarship guidance
(G-3) and typically solicit nominees a couple of
months prior to national's suspense.
Nominees compete and our local winners are
awarded a Kanaloa check before moving up to
national level for a chance to win even more
money and a trip to the LOA national conference.
Eligible nominees: Air Force, Army,
Navy, Marine, Coast Guard, National Guard, or
Reserve enlisted or DoD civilian (gradeGS-1
through GS-8 and WG-1 through WG-9) in a
logistics specialty, with college expenses
towards an associate or bachelor degree.
